Molecular Biology Scientist

Responsibilities:

  • Testing, optimizing and benchmarking of new methods
  • Implementing new product/service development ideas
  • Must be able to design experiments and troubleshooting independently
  • Optimizing technical protocols, assisting developing or improving SOPs
  • Conducting various molecular biology experiments as required by clients’ projects
  • Write technical information sheets for new products/services, including background, product specifications, technical manuals, and so on

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. preferably earned from a U.S. university in Molecular biology, Cell biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of laboratory experiences in molecular biology or biotechnology
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

Skills:

  • Proficient in cell culture
  • Proficient in Molecular cloning technique
  • Proficient in RNA quantification techniques, such as RT-PCR
  • Experience in RNA Sequencing preferred
  • Experience in epigenetic detection techniques, such as Chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) required
  • Excellent organizational and teamwork skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy
